Accreditation

ABC Labs AB is accredited for testing (accred. no. 10532 by SWEDAC) according to ISO 15189:2012 Medical laboratories - Requirements for quality and competence. Accreditation scope of methods can be found on Swedac's website.

ABC also offers testing services that are not included in the scope of accreditation, but if an accredited method is available this will always be applied, unless something else is requested. ABC participates in both national and international external quality assurance programs for all test services.

Accredited result reports are provided only when including tests within the scope of accreditation. Such reports are presented with an accreditation symbol or text referring to accreditation. In case a reporting media, i.e. a patient journal system, does not allow marking of which tests are accredited and which are not, an accredited result report can be supplied for testing carried out with an accredited method upon request.
